Documents using alternative forms of the country name, including “Turkey”, will unfortunately be returned for revision. We kindly request that “Türkiye” is used consistently in all official documentation.

WORK VISA

You do not need to book an appointment to apply for a work visa.

You may visit our office between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).

Please ensure that you bring all required documents with you. Applications cannot be accepted if any required documents are missing.

Required Documents

1. Letter from the Turkish Company

The letter must include:

• Applicant’s full details
• Job title
• Turkish job title in brackets (maximum 30 characters)
• Proposed/tentative employment start date
• Duration of the requested work visa
• Any additional relevant information (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Must be prepared on a standard A4-size document
• No small print
• All dates and information must match those stated in the Employment Contract
• The company must clearly state:
  “The applicant would like to apply for a work visa entry for one year / six months.”

2. Employment Contract

The employment contract must include:

• Contract details
• Turkish job title (maximum 30 characters)
• Proposed/tentative employment start date
• Duration of the requested work visa

Requirements:

• Information must be consistent with the Turkish company letter
• No discrepancies are allowed between documents
• Must be prepared on a standard A4-size document
• No small print

3. Passport

• Original passport and photocopy required
• The applicant’s passport must be valid: For the full duration of employment, plus a minimum additional period of 60 days

For non-British applicants:

• Passport and residence documents must be valid
• Applicants must provide a printed copy of their UK immigration status reference from gov.uk
• The status must show sufficient validity: For the full duration of employment, plus a minimum additional period of 60 days

4. Biometric Photograph

• 1 x UK passport-size biometric photograph

5. Work Permit Form

• Fully completed and signed

6. Undertaking Form

• Fully completed and signed

7. Reference Number Form

• Fully completed and signed

8. Proof of UK Residence Status

EU passport holders:

• Must provide a printed copy of their immigration residence status page (share code submissions will not be accepted).
• The document must have sufficient validity to allow visa collection

Non-EU / non-British passport holders:

• Must provide a printed copy of their immigration residence status page (share code submissions will not be accepted).
• The document must have sufficient validity to allow visa collection

9. Travel Insurance

• According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, travel insurance must be arranged through our office.

Visa Fee

1-year Work Visa Fee: GBP 675 (Including travel insurance)

6-months Work Visa Fee: GBP 304 (Including travel insurance)

Payment methods accepted:

• Cash
• Bank transfer

Payment must be completed on the appointment/application day.

Visa Processing Information

The visa process may take up to 6 weeks.

Please note: We do not keep your passport during the application process.

Step 1

After submitting your application:

You will receive a reference number directly from the Turkish Consulate via email within approximately 10 working days.

You cannot travel to Türkiye before receiving this reference number.

Once you receive the reference number:

You must provide it to your employer/company in Türkiye.

Your company will then submit your work permit application to the Ministry of Labour in Türkiye.

Step 2

Once your work permit is approved by the Ministry in Ankara:

• Your company will inform you.
• You must bring your passport to our office.
• We will submit your passport to the Turkish Consulate.
• The Consulate will issue your visa within a maximum of 10 working days.

Once your visa is ready:

• We will contact you.
• You will need to collect your passport from our office.

COMPANY OWNER VISA

• Vergi Levhası (Tax Registration Certificate)
• Vekâletname (Power of Attorney)
• Any other relevant company documents requested by the Ministry
