Please be advised that it is essential for the name of our country to be stated as “Türkiye” in all application documents submitted to the Ministry. Documents using alternative forms of the country name, including “Turkey”, will unfortunately be returned for revision. We kindly request that “Türkiye” is used consistently in all official documentation.

Digital Nomad Visa

You do not need to book an appointment to apply for a digital nomad visa.

You may visit our office between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).

Please ensure that you bring all required documents with you. Applications cannot be accepted if any required documents are missing.

Before Applying

To apply for a Digital Nomad Visa, you must obtain an Acceptance Letter issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye.

Please bring this letter with you when submitting your visa application.

Required Documents

1. Passport

• Original passport and photocopy required
• The applicant’s passport must be valid: For the full duration of employment, plus a minimum additional period of 60 days

For non-British applicants:

• Passport and residence documents must be valid
• Applicants must provide a printed copy of their UK immigration status reference from gov.uk
• The status must show sufficient validity: For the full duration of employment, plus a minimum additional period of 60 days

2. Biometric Photograph

• 1 x UK passport-size biometric photograph

3. Application Form

• Fully completed and signed

4. Undertaking Form

• Fully completed and signed

5. Proof of UK Residence Status

EU passport holders:

• Must provide a printed copy of their immigration residence status page (share code submissions will not be accepted)
• The document must have sufficient validity to allow visa collection

Non-EU / non-British passport holders:

• Must provide a printed copy of their immigration residence status page (share code submissions will not be accepted)

6. Travel Insurance

• According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, travel insurance must be arranged through our office

7. Acceptance Letter

Please provide:

• Acceptance Letter issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye.

Once you have obtained this letter, you may apply for the Digital Nomad Visa at our office.

8. Employment / Professional Activity Documents

If Employed:

Please provide:

• A work certificate or employment confirmation letter approved by your employer
• The letter should confirm that you are permitted to work remotely while residing in Türkiye and that remote working arrangements are acceptable to the company

If Self-Employed:

Please provide:

• A contract or agreement related to the project or professional activity you will undertake
• The letter should confirm that you are permitted to work remotely while residing in Türkiye and that remote working arrangements are acceptable to the company

9. Diploma / Certificate

Please provide:

• A diploma or certificate confirming university graduation

Visa Fee

Digital Nomad Visa Fee: GBP 675 (Including travel insurance)

Payment methods accepted:

• Bank transfer

Payment must be completed on the appointment/application day.

Visa Processing Information

The visa processing time takes approximately 4–6 weeks.

Please note:

• Your passport will be retained by our office during the visa processing period.
• No fast-track service is available.
