Visa Types & Required Documents

 

Important Notice

Please be advised that it is essential for the name of our country to be stated as “Türkiye” in all application documents submitted to the Ministry. Documents using alternative forms of the country name, including “Turkey”, will unfortunately be returned for revision. We kindly request that “Türkiye” is used consistently in all official documentation.

 

MONTAGE VISA ( AMS )

You do not need to book an appointment to apply for a montage visa.

You may visit our office between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).

Please ensure that you bring all required documents with you. Applications cannot be accepted if any required documents are missing.

The Montage (AMS) Visa is generally issued to supervisors, engineers, technicians, and similar professionals who will participate in a project in Türkiye for up to 90 days.

The visa is issued with multiple-entry validity. Please note that a Montage Visa may only be issued once per calendar year and cannot be extended.

 

Required Documents

  1. Passport
  • Original passport and photocopy required
  • The applicant’s passport must be valid: For the full duration of employment, plus a minimum additional period of 60 days

For non-British applicants:

  • Passport and residence documents must be valid
  • Applicants must provide a printed copy of their UK immigration status reference from gov.uk
  • The status must show sufficient validity: For the full duration of employment, plus a minimum additional period of 60 days
  1. Biometric Photograph
  • 1 x UK passport-size biometric photograph
  1. Visa Application Form
  • Fully completed and signed
  1. Undertaking Form
  • Fully completed and signed
  1. Proof of UK Residence Status

EU passport holders:

  • Must provide a printed copy of their immigration residence status page (share code submissions will not be accepted).
  • The document must have sufficient validity to allow visa collection

Non-EU / non-British passport holders:

  • Must provide a printed copy of their immigration residence status page (share code submissions will not be accepted).
  • The document must have sufficient validity to allow visa collection

  1. Travel Insurance
  • According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, travel insurance must be arranged through our office.
  1. Hotel and Flight Reservations

Please provide:

  • Confirmed hotel reservation
  • Confirmed flight reservation showing both arrival in and departure from Türkiye

The travel dates shown on both reservations must match the dates stated in your supporting letters.

  1. Letter from the UK Employer

The letter must:

  • Be printed on the company’s official letterhead.
  • Explain the work to be carried out in Türkiye.
  • State the applicant’s role and responsibilities.
  • Include the project start and end dates.
  • Include the company’s contact details.
  • Be signed by an authorised representative.

The dates must match those shown on the hotel reservation, flight reservation, and the invitation letter from the company in Türkiye.

  1. Invitation Letter from the Company in Türkiye

The invitation letter must:

  • Be printed on the company’s official letterhead.
  • Describe the work or project to be carried out in Türkiye.
  • Include the project start and end dates.
  • Include the company’s contact details.
  • Be signed by an authorised representative.

The company must clearly state that they:

“Would like to apply for a Montage (AMS) Visa with multiple entries for 6 months or 1 year.”

All dates and project details must be consistent with the UK employer’s letter and the applicant’s travel reservations.

 

Visa Fee

1-year Montage Visa Fee: GBP 675 (Including travel insurance)

6-months Montage Visa Fee: GBP 304 (Including travel insurance)

Payment methods accepted:

  • Cash
  • Bank transfer

Payment must be completed on the appointment/application day.

 

Visa Processing Information

The visa processing time is approximately 10–14 working days.

Please note:

  • Your passport will be retained by our office during the visa processing period.
  • No fast-track service is available.

Applicants are required to submit all of the above documents. Failure to provide the required documents may result in delays to the visa application process.
