We would like to inform you that if you wish to produce documentary films related to scientific research and observation, or make commercial and promotional films within Turkey, you must obtain prior permission from the Turkish authorities before applying for a visa at our office. Once permission is granted, you will be issued the appropriate Filming Visa through Voya Visa.
In order to apply for a film visa, an approved copy of permission application form is a must. This document should cover all film crew’s full names. Visa cannot be issued to the person if name is not listed on the permission. Firstly please contact the Turkish Culture and Tourism Office in London (for commercial and promotional filming) for permission. They will be able to help you with their application process. It may take up to 4 weeks. Once you have been granted permission to film, please send it to our email address as we need to verify it with the Turkish Consulate.
Once the Turkish Consulate confirms your permission, we will begin processing your visa application at our office.
After obtaining the required permission, you will need to apply for a filming visa at our VOYAVISA office.

Visa Processing Time: The process takes a maximum of 2 weeks. Please note that we will keep your passport during the visa processing period.
Visa Fee: For British citizens, the fee for a short-term visa is £288, which includes travel insurance. Payment must be made by cash or bank transfer on the day of your application. There is no fast-track service available.
In order to apply for an archaeology visa the most important document is excavation permit from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Please make sure your name is in the excavation permit, otherwise you can’t apply for the visa. You must bring this permit and invitation letter with you when you attend your visa appointment.
Additionally, VOYA VISA application center can only take the applicants archaeology visa’s application, if the excavation permit list is sent by Turkish Consulate London to VOYA VISA. You must send an email to Voya Visa whether VOYA VISA has the permit list or not before you attend your visa appointment. Otherwise, we cannot take your application.
