TOURISM / TRANSIT Visa – Ghana
1. PERSONAL & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
- Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months.
- Photocopy: Passport data page photocopy.
- Residence Permit: Valid residence permit if applicant is a foreigner staying in Ghana.
- Photograph: One (1) American size passport picture.
- Travel Plans: Flight reservation, Hotel reservation, and a Detailed Travel Itinerary.
- Transit: Destination Visa is required for Transit Visa applicants.
2. PROFESSIONAL & ACADEMIC DOCUMENTS
- Employees: Appointment letter and Introduction letter from your company (on letterheaded paper showing employment date, salary, and promotions).
- Business Owners: Certificate of Company Registration, Form A, and Tax Clearance Certificate (Originals and photocopies).
- Students: Official letter from the school and a valid Student ID.
- Income: 3 months payslips (if applicable).
3. FINANCIAL & SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
- Bank Statements: 3 months bank statement of both sponsor and applicant (Must reflect the most recent date, signed and stamped by the bank).
- Sponsorship: Sponsorship letter (if you are not sponsoring your trip) including a valid ID copy of the sponsor.
- Family/Assets: Property ownership documents, Original Marriage Certificate (for couples), and Birth Certificates (for children/siblings).
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
- Travel Insurance: Compulsory to be obtained from the centre.
- Ensure all financial statements show sufficient funds for the duration of the trip.
- Original documents must be presented for verification during submission.
