STUDENT VISA – GHANA

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS & PROCEDURES

1. PERSONAL & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
  • Passport: Must be valid for at least 1 YEAR.
  • Photocopy: Passport data page photocopy.
  • Residence Permit: Valid residence permit if applicant is a foreigner staying in Ghana.
  • Photograph: One (1) American size passport picture.
  • Flight: Flight reservation.
2. ADMISSION & ACADEMIC RECORDS
  • New Students: Official Admission and Acceptance letters.
  • Returning Students: Copy of School I.D card, School letter for the current session, and Turkish Residence Permit.
  • Fees: Proof of payment of fees (Receipt from school and bank receipt).
  • Certificates: WAEC Result (with scratch card), University Certificate/Transcript, or Master’s Certificate/Transcript as applicable. All must be duly authenticated.
3. FINANCIAL & LEGAL DOCUMENTS
  • Bank Statements: Updated bank statements of the sponsor or applicant for the last three (3) months.
  • Sponsorship: Sponsorship letter and original birth certificate if the sponsor is a parent or sibling.
  • Minors: Letter of consent signed by both parents for applicants under 18 years.
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING CERTIFICATION:
  • Notarization: All previous school certificates, results, and transcripts should be notarized by a Public Notary and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before submission.
  • Exemption: Students with certificates and transcripts from foreign schools are exempted from the above notarization rule.
  • Travel Insurance: Compulsory to be obtained from the visa center.
  • Originals and photocopies of all certificates and transcripts must be provided.
